Designer Mash-Up Calendar

For this project, we were to research two designers and "mash-up" both of their works into a one month calendar spread.
The designers you see here are Matt Lehman and Dan Casarro. I did much research on these two great designers but I struggled to find a similarity with them outside of their design work. But I knew both of their works look very similar to each other. So then I asked myself the question: what makes their work look similar? I came up with the answer. They both bring a playful feel to each client they design for. I wanted to make sure that my calendar project brought that same playful feel as they did to their clients.
